Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at service@jankorba.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: BAUMGARTENWEG 8A, CH-5300 Turgi (Baden) 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like bespoke or made-to-measure products, and personal care goods. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at service@jankorba.com.

Defects & Non-Conformity

    • Goods are considered defective if they deviate from agreed specifications or contain material or manufacturing faults.

    • As provided by Swiss law, clients may invoke legal warranty rights for defects within two years from delivery.

  1. Voluntary Returns

    • The Client has the right to return items within 14 days after receiving them.

    • “One of One” bespoke pieces are excluded from this right, as they follow their own return policy mutually agreed upon between JAN KORBA and the Client during the private purchase process.

  1. Conditions of Goods for Return Eligibility

    • Goods must be unused, unworn, unwashed, free of odors, and in their original packaging.

    • All accessories, labels, and tags must be intact.

    • If goods are opened, used, or partially damaged, JAN KORBA reserves the right to refuse a refund. Goods may be inspected before any refund is issued.

  1. Cost of Return

    • JAN KORBA will organize the return shipping.

    • The Client may also choose to send back the goods independently; however, JAN KORBA will not bear any costs resulting from such return.

  1. Refund Terms

    • If the product was damaged by JAN KORBA, the full purchase price will be refunded through the original payment method.

    • In all other cases, refunds are issued in the form of store credit.

  1. Bespoke Goods

    • Bespoke goods are excluded from any return or refund process, as they follow their own policies determined during the purchase process between the Client and JAN KORBA.

  1. Deduction of Refund

    • The deduction fees are as follows:

      • Jewellery: CHF 50

      • Garments: CHF 35

      • Accessories: CHF 80

    • Deductions occur automatically unless the item was damaged by JAN KORBA.

  1. Procedure for Returns

    • Returns are processed privately between the Client and JAN KORBA.

    • All goods must first be inspected by JAN KORBA before a refund is approved.

    • Clients may initiate the process through the contact form available on our website.

  1. Effect of Non-Acceptance

    • JAN KORBA may refuse a refund if the goods are returned in the wrong condition or with missing parts.

    • A partial refund may be issued at JAN KORBA’s discretion and agreed upon privately with the Client.

  1. Legal Warranty vs. Guarantee

    • Under the Swiss Code of Obligations, legal warranties for defects apply for two years from the date of delivery.

    • Existing Clients may request repairs or adjustments through private arrangement with JAN KORBA.
